Mountains and seas stretch far, yet visions find resonance. This August, leaders from Gongliu County, Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture in Xinjiang traveled over 3,000 kilometers to Chongqing for exchanges. They forged a partnership with Zhonghui Jianrun to jointly explore pathways for green development. In the golden month of September, a delegation led by Chairman Ren Dafeng and Deputy Marketing General Manager Xiao Qingchi paid a return visit to the Ili River Valley. Through site surveys, government-enterprise forums and market research, the green industrial cooperation between Chongqing and Ili is advancing from a promising vision toward tangible implementation.

The trip centered on three core priorities: industrial adaptability, raw material supply and scenario deployment, enabling a comprehensive assessment of Gongliu County’s development foundation. The delegation visited Gongliu Industrial Park, the Urban Planning Exhibition Hall and the History Museum. The park features a near-term planned area of 9.58 square kilometers, with long-term expansion to 27.52 square kilometers, prioritizing green industries including new energy, advanced energy storage and intelligent computing — a strong alignment with Zhonghui Jianrun’s low-carbon technologies and business portfolio. To consolidate project foundations, the team conducted field inspections of raw material reserves for grass-plastic composites such as reeds and corn stalks in farmlands. Gongliu sustains roughly 500,000 mu of corn cultivation annually, and the Ili River Valley boasts abundant reed resources, supporting localized, large-scale production of grass-plastic materials.

Ili’s core strength lies in its ecological landscapes, and cultural tourism upgrading stands as a key local development priority. The delegation conducted on-site research at the Kuerdening Scenic Area, inspecting operations of campsites, viewing platforms and wooden vacation lodges. While this residential tourism integrates well with nature, it generally suffers from unstable power supply, inconvenient water access and challenging sewage treatment — bottlenecks hindering quality improvement. Tailored to Xinjiang’s abundant sunlight, scattered scenic sites and stringent ecological protection requirements, Zhonghui Jianrun’s zero-carbon cabins demonstrate outstanding advantages. Powered by cadmium telluride power-generating glass and air-to-water systems, they achieve 95% energy self-sufficiency, 100% water self-sufficiency and zero wastewater discharge. Ideal for mountain camps, rural homestays and remote scenic spots, they deliver lightweight, high-performance zero-carbon solutions for the ecological tourism upgrade of Ili.
During the visit, the team held multiple practical forums with local authorities and Xinjiang-aid working groups, engaging in in-depth discussions on industrial collaboration, policy coordination, resource exchange and project advancement mechanisms. A regular communication framework for steady progress was established. Targeted discussions were also held with Gongliu’s investment promotion, cultural tourism, science & technology, ecological environment authorities and scenic area management committees, clarifying application paths for zero-carbon cabins in rural revitalization and cultural tourism homestays, and confirming the promotion roadmap for grass-plastic materials adapted to Xinjiang’s climate, removing obstacles and clarifying approaches for project implementation. Meanwhile, the team carried out comprehensive market research, visiting major hotels to collect first-hand data on occupancy rates, average room rates and consumer demands, and assess cultural tourism market potential. Field visits to scenic sites and rural revitalization demonstration projects systematically evaluated the enabling value of the company’s core products. At the Khorgos Port, the delegation learned that freight volume exceeded 22.95 million tons in the first half of this year, hitting a new record. This unimpeded gateway for opening-up provides solid geographic and logistics advantages for product coverage across Northwest China and exports to Central Asia.

The three-day inspection tour in Ili concluded with fruitful outcomes. Zhonghui Jianrun gained a precise understanding of Gongliu County’s industrial planning, raw material resources, cultural tourism market and policy strengths, confirming that the local development endowments are highly compatible with the company’s dual core businesses of “zero-carbon cabins + grass-plastic materials”. Though mountains and seas lie in between, progress comes with persistent efforts; the new zero-carbon journey holds great promise. Upholding the mission of “building revenue-generating buildings for you”, Zhonghui Jianrun will leverage its green technological strengths to steadily push forward project delivery. It will safeguard lucid waters and lush mountains with low-carbon technologies, empower rural revitalization and regional industrial upgrading through real industry, march forward hand in hand with Ili, and jointly write a new chapter of eco-oriented green development.
